The last months m3 has been working closely with film-director Artemis Anastasiadou, on a project of creating videos for m3’s live concerts, with music from their last cd (Still Time) and also their latest album (to be released in 2015).

On Friday 25 of April, we had the joy of meeting the students of the Musical School of Katerini, and collaborating with them in two pieces on the night concert.
It was a wonderful experience, in a few hours we orchestrated and prepared the pieces, and had a great time playing! One of these times where there are no “students” nor “teachers” only music… 🙂

Magnanimus Trio + Film
Magnanimus Trio is starting a new collaboration with film director (and Christos’s cousin 😉 ) Artemis Anastasiadou. In the next period Artemis will be creating short movies, inspired by m3’s music and using filmings from modern Greece’s rapidly changing urban and rural scenery. We are planning then to create a full-length concert, accompanied by the film’s screening. The first of these short movies is here to watch, filmed during two journeys with train in North Greece. Enjoy!
Magnanimus Trio – Half Note Jazz Club
On Saturday June 15th, the Magnanimus Trio will appear on stage at the Half Note Jazz Club to present compositions and improvisations from their latest CD “Still Time.”

I am writing to share with you our latest work with Magnanimus Trio, and also propose some ideas…
With Magnanimus Trio we just finished editing an album with themes and music that kept us busy during the last year. The previous work of Magnanimus Trio had to do a lot with improvisation, and also we had worked many times with friends from ‘other’ arts. These collaborations where always very inspiring, enriching our experience, as they illuminated -through the “non-musical” elements of other arts – new dimensions for us in sound and music.
